How long will your flowers last?
You want your flowers to last and while you may have your own remedies for longevity, take the advice from Carousels expert flower growers and sellers, John and Polly.
Your flowers will not only be sold to you as fresh as a daisy, but they will last as long as possible. The flowers at Carousel are fresher than some because they are picked at the right time and collected straight from the growers in the right transportation environments.
While the flowers are waiting for your order in our boutique shop, they are stored in chillers that maintain the flowers beauty.
Each breed of flower is unique and will last different times. A daffodil may only last seven days, but an orchard can last up to five weeks.
Depending on what you intend for your lovely bunch or bouquet we can advise you on the best selection of flowers.
How to make your flowers last longer
John is happy to share this simple tip – mix a teaspoon of sugar into the water in your vase, and change the water every two or three days.
